LIVER DETOX RECIPE
Begin with a 3-day liver detox diet VERY IMPORTANT: Drink half your weight in ounces of high-quality water daily Add 1/4 tsp of vitamin C crystals to each glass of water. Vitamin C is a natural chelator of heavy metal toxins Eat a dark leafy green vegetable salad every day
Evening before liver cleansing diet Eat a bowl of miso soup with sea greens Make a liver tonic tea: To 2 quarts of water add 2 oz. red sage; 4 oz hawthorn berries; and 1 oz of cardamom seeds. Steep this mixture for 24 hours; add honey. Drink 2 cups daily
FIRST THING IN A.M.: Take 1 organic lemon squeezed into a glass of high-quality of water OR Take water with 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar in and 1 tsp honey BREAKFAST: Drink organic carrot/beet/cucumber juice OR Take potassium broth (located under Benefit of Potassium on the "Detox Diet" Page) MORNING SNACK: Take a green veggie drink - anything green OR Take a green superfood (chlorella, spirulina, alfalfa, wheat grass, etc) powder mixed in water or vegetable juice LUNCH: Drink a glass of organic apple juice OR Drink a glass of organic fresh carrot juice OR Drink a cup of liver tonic tea (above) AFTERNOON SNACK: drink a cup of green tea OR Drink a cup of peppermint tea SUPPER: Drink a cup of mixed vegetable juice or carrot juice OR Have a hot vegetable potassium broth BEDTIME: Drink papaya/pineapple juice with 1 tsp of royal jelly
