These suggestions are life-style habits that will support HEALTHY LUNG s.
- Deep Breathing Exercises - Take a full, deep breath, hold the breath then slowly exhale (count to 15-20). Take 5-10 slow breaths while you breathe, inhaling and exhaling slowly.
- Essential oil - Eucalyptus, oregano or tea tree oils will support a lung cleanse (combine fifteen drops of oil or fifteen drops of a single oil into one1 oz. Of carrier oil e.g. Jojoba oil
- Bath/Sauna - During the lung cleanse, take a twenty-minute hot sauna or bath to increase elimination of toxins . A hot sauna or bath will as stimulate the body's defenses particularly on the beginning of the flu or a cold
- Exercise - Take a twenty minute brisk walk daily during the cleanse if you are not ill. Breathe deeply throughout the walk (great for loosening mucous and toxins)
- Compress - A cayenne/ginger compress on the chest will assist in loosening mucous, toxins and improving circulation
Pollutants, viruses and mucous-forming congestions have never been higher than they are today, in the air you breathe. The lungs are the primary filter for these toxins. It has never been more important to adopt life-style habits that will support your breath of life.
