POTASSIUM NUTRITENT BROTH
This vegetable potassium broth is one of the greatest natural healing broths available for restoring body energy and cleansing, a benefit of potassium.
Juicing the vegetables is preferable, however this potassium broth can also be made in a soup pot. This is an excellent source of minerals, energy and electrolytes. This recipe makes a 2-day supply. 3 to 4 carrots 3 stalks of celery 1/2 bunch parsley 2 potatoes with skins 1/2 head of cabbage 1 onion 1/2 bunch broccoli 2 Tbsps snipped dry sea greens
Put these "juiced" vegetables in a soup pot; add water and simmer for 15-20 minutes; add 2 tsps of Bragg's liquid aminos or 1 tsp of miso. Stir often
If these vegetables were not juiced, put vegetables into a soup pot; cover with water; simmer covered For 30 minutes; strain and discard solids; add 2 tsps of Bragg's liquid aminos or 1 tsp of miso. Store in the fridge, covered.
Great sources of potassium in food are: sea greens, fresh fruits - especially bananas and kiwis, potatoes, spices like cumin, parsley, coriander, ginger, basil, paprika, hot peppers, tarragon,, turmeric, dill weed, dairy foods, fish, lean poultry, seeds, legumes and whole grains. These foods all can be used in a body cleanse or in high potassium
